Am I eligible to receive CLE credit in my state for participating in the online course?

You may be eligible to receive CLE credit for participating in a NACUA online course. MCLE credit is subject to each state's rules and regulations. States differ in their definition of "CLE". Some states do not approve online courses for MCLE credit or have specific rules regarding who may earn credit through distance-learning formats such as online CLE, whether the online CLE counts toward participatory or self-study credit, or the maximum number of credit hours that may be earned through online CLE.

I would like NACUA to apply on my behalf for CLE Credit. How do I do this?

NACUA will apply to the MCLE of the states listed above after the completion of the online course. Attorneys interested in having NACUA apply for their CLE credit must complete two forms, the Certificate of Attendance form and the Attendance Record, which are located in your course materials. Please return both forms to NACUA at clecredit@nacua.org. Depending on the state's rules, NACUA will sign the form to verify your participation in the course and will either process your credit with the MCLE record-keeping authority in the state(s) you provided or return the signed form to you for your records.

Please note, if you are requesting credit in more than one state you must fill out one form per state.
