Eugene H. Bramhall - 2000
Mr. Bramhall is retiring from Brigham Young University this Summer, having served in the General Counsel’s office for 23 years -- first as Associate General Counsel of the University and General Counsel of the Hawaii Campus (1977-1986), and as Assistant to the President and General Counsel of the University (1986 to the present). Following graduation from law school in 1960, Mr. Bramhall was in private practice in California for eight years and then in Utah for 15 years.
Mr. Bramhall was a member of the NACUA Board of Directors from 1989-1992. He also served on numerous committees, including Continuing Legal Education, Honors and Awards, Program for the Annual Conference, Site Selection (Chair, 1991-1992), Finance, and the Student Legal Writing Competition. He attended many CLE workshops and annual conferences, serving on several occasions as either a speaker or discussion leader.
Mr. Bramhall has been a generous, thoughtful and always gracious contributor to NACUA, a positive role model for newcomers to the profession, and the very epitome of the collegiality that the organization so cherishes. NACUA is pleased to recognize these accomplishments and achievements and to bestow on him Life Membership.
