Marissa Salad joined NACUA as the Membership and Member Services Assistant in September 2023. Her role supports the Director of Membership and Marketing as the first point of contact for members in regards to applications, member profile management, and general inquiries.
Prior to joining NACUA, Marissa worked as a teacher in various capacities, including: an elementary school teacher at multiple institutions, a museum educator, an English and math teacher in Malawi, and an English teacher in Japan.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies in English and Elementary Education, with a minor in Chinese from Radford University.
