Overview: The JHU Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Associate General Counsel (“CCO”) oversees and manages the University’s compliance function and compliance risk management and is an integral part of the University’s Institutional Risk Management (IRM) program. The CCO works in a consultative and collaborative manner with other established compliance functions throughout the University and provides leadership in managing complex compliance obligations associated with a top-tier academic and research institution, including the University’s School of Medicine.

Experience: The successful candidate will have significant experience leading or helping lead the legal or compliance function within large complex organizations, and at least ten years of legal/compliance experience. Experience at a large research university is preferred, although not required. The position requires an accomplished attorney with a distinguished legal and compliance professional record, regardless of industry background.

Location/Relocation: Baltimore, MD. This is a national search. Remote candidates will not be considered.
