Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Staff Attorney, reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel working as part of the Office of General Counsel and Compliance team, you will help provide general legal services on behalf of the University to all the College's constituencies, including the Board of Trustees, senior administrators, faculty, and staff. You will also support OGCC's University attorneys with their practice areas and may be responsible for specific practice area(s) as assigned. You will need to live a commutable distance from the office in Manchester, NH as this is a hybrid position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 0-3 years of experience practicing law with some demonstrated interest in, internship or experience related to non-profit organizations or education. Admission to practice before appropriate state and federal courts may be required.
  • Must be admitted and in good standing in New Hampshire or other state bar, admission to NH bar expected within one year of employment.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, initiative, self-motivation, practical learning skills, enthusiasm, and timely task completion.

  • Experience drafting policies, procedures, and other administrative documents.
